Airbag light on dash code issue
Hey guys, got a little issue and would like to get your opinions on what could be the cause.
Basically, Front Steering Airbag was blown, small accident- got my ACM reprogrammed, new steering AB installed. The original clockspring AB connectors were melted, but all steering controls worked and the horn has no issue- so I cut the fryed wires and soldered on some new Airbag connector heads.
Connected the new Steering AB bug still have the AB light on.
Used my MK808 to see the codes and it comes up with B1802-
Short To Ground In Driver Side Squib Circuit
Any ideas or suggestions? I can clear the code, and then the AB light will disappear. After I shut off and turn it back - light & code is back.
Is my clockspring bad or is it another issue?
Thanks in advance!
