I’m worried about those super cold Ottawa winters, plus working from home she does sit a lot.
OEM is Panasonic from factory in Japan but dealers sell a rebranded generic from exise or Johnson I think...plus it’s 2 year replacement warranty 5 years pro rated...AND they have to install for $50 plus tax or u get no warranty...so dealer is $220+tax...I’m just gonna grab a motomaster eliminator from crappy tire as Costco does not carry group 24...only 24F.
Crappy tire is $135, 3 year replacement warranty.
Good luck with the Crappy Tire battery, I've heard horror stories of them denying warranty claims on 1 year old batteries that fail.
As for the Toyota battery, whether you have them install it or not, the part still has warranty on it.
Just because you buy it from the parts department and install it yourself, it doesn't void the warranty on it. If it fails and a warranty claim is appropriate, they may require you to bring the vehicle in with the battery installed so they can test it to get a fail code...which may incur a service cost.

Just to be clear there is no OEM Lexus / Toyota battery..
If you try to get a true Panasonic factory battery it will cost an arm & leg..
Dealerships have OEM replacements made by 3rd party company (like interstate) and then they slap the cool stickers on it.

Very true...I say OEM to mean it comes from the dealer...really what parts does Toyota actually manufacturer in house?? It's like getting an OEM waterpump...which is made in reality by Aisin.
For us in Ontario the batteries are supplied by East Penn Canada directly to the dealer. I'm not sure exactly who makes the battery, but yes they have the Lexus/Toyota stickers all over them.

Curious, what did you end up going with? I'm also looking for a battery and Costco doesn't have 24. They have a 34, but it's a bit short.
