i searched, checked Manuals but couldn't find what the 7 pins do on the back side
pics of back side:

i deduced that left side is Neg and right side is positive but specific pin info would be much appreciated

There's some variation in the Clock circuit wiring depending on if you have 2014-2018 or a 2019+...and if you have Navi or not.
I'm assuming you have a 2014 with Navi.
Pin 1 (Light green wire) - Battery constant power
Pin 2 (Light blue wire) - ACC power (basically battery voltage when the ACC or IGN are on)
Pin 3 (Green wire) - Illumination Positive (from 7.5A Panel fuse - makes it light up)
Pin 4 - couldn't find anything for this pin - hopefully you do not have a wire here
Pin 5 (White wire) - For 2019+ with Navi - Supposed to go to the radio...not sure why (my guess is CAN+ wire)
Pin 6 (Black wire) - Illumination (Negative) For 2014 - 2018 this goes to the Combination Meter - controls dimming of light (in 2019+ this also goes to Radio, suspect it's the CAN- wire)
Pin 7 (White with Black Stripe) - Ground
