Was wondering if this would work in the 2021 IS's cus I saw someone post about their ventilated seats shooting cabin air as well. Anyone able to confirm the duct is the same?

I was asking if the seat duct under the seat in the new 2021 IS is the same, I already bought this from him for my 2015 car.

The maker of these seems confident they are the same as he updated his listing to include 2021. I imagine he's seen the 2021 vent himself as I doubt he'd want returns and unhappy customers.
But to be extra sure, all we need is someone with a 2021 to raise their seat up and forward and snap a quick pic from behind / under the seat. If I saw a pic I'd be able to tell if they were the same.
Completely understandable and we appreciate your communication and the notice on your etsy store page.
I think you getting overwhelmed with orders for the AC duct adapters may be at least partially my fault because I have loved mine so much that I have been posting in many threads around here and other Lexus communities I am a part of, not to mention my build thread gets an average of a around 100 views per day where I advertise them there as well, about how great they are and have received a ton of PM's asking where to get them and I send them to you. Sorry the the unexpected influx of orders!
I am now recently been telling people to just wait and they are worth waiting for
If you prefer me to not mention the source of them until you are caught up, please don't hesitate to let me know. I don't want it to be a burden on you
Thanks Mike for the mentions on these, I appreciate it.
It's not really the AC ducts that had me under the water or any car parts that I make in general since I do not really sell too many of them. It is the pop culture nostalgia items that I sell in my store that I cannot keep up with, which is crazy since I originally bought printers to begin with to make functional parts for my cars, and not decorations lol.
But anyways, when you combine all the sales of all the different items together into one, add in failed prints and printers breaking down all the time, which happen to be in your living room and not allowing you to escape work at any hour or day of the week, and then throw your full-time job on top of all of that, and it just gets to be too much. But anyway, I am trying to bring everything back up slowly, so I should have some more things in stock soon.
after seeing this link, ordered a set. didn't even know this was an issue as my seat always felt good, but if CL says there's a correction required, then im on it
I don't often have rear seat passengers (and the footwell behind the driver's seat is usually filled with winter stuff anyway), so I might as well improve the efficiency of the seat cooler's air intake and hopefully keep the motors cool(er). I plan to install it only on the driver's side and keep the other as a backup.
Here is a pic for the 2021 IS 350 in case it helps.
I also DIY'd a solution with cardboard and it works fantastically. The back wall is sloped to minimize turbulence and to maximize the air flow back into the blower. The wall also rides pretty high. Version 1.0 went past the vent but if I were to move the seat back, it would have dislodged from the floor vent.
The biggest difference I felt was between the hamstrings and I believe it will help with warm spots from the blower motors. I did read that was an issue on another thread; I thought it was my imagination this whole time!
Obviously, the cardboard is an interim solution but nonetheless I'm so excited to have a well working ventilated seat.

I got mine last night and installed one on the driver's side.
You can just barely see where I cut a strip of Gorilla Tape and wrapped it around the section just above the HldMyBeerEngineering logo, to further reinforce that section where the curved part slots into.
Installation was really simple if you slot it over the curved part of the air tubes first, then push it all the way in until it doesn't go any further. I also verified that the air flow goes directly up into the seat air intake vent. As it's already getting cool here in SW Ontario, I cannot test it out completely but I can only see this as an improvement as the air is now directed exactly where it is required.
