Concern - Model year changes
Hello, I am looking to pick up a new 2021 is 350 f sport with DHP in the fall. I am worried that I'll get first adoption regret from looking at how Lexus improves the LC 500 every year with there newer always improving mantra.
What's the likely hood the is will receive drastic improvements through its life cycle? Should I wait a few years and get the best iteration?

To date, the IS biggest change, as well as the GS was the switch of the V6 from the previous generation to the current model used across the 18+ Toyota/Lexus cars.
There were no updates or mechanical improvements made in 6 model years! Its safe to say, for the next 3 years or less, the IS will remain unchanged when its cancelled or completely redesigned.
That leaves possible infotainment updates, paint changes, wheels, and new features being made standard.
A model that is this old will not get any improvements, like a new model such as the LC 500 or other new Lexus platform.
2021 IS 350 F sport here I come!
