Default Recharging AC?

Stupid question:
Do we have to recharge/refill the refrigerant on our A/C systems? Thanks in advance 🙏

All air conditioning systems are sealed systems that rely on differential pressures to function. The only reason one ever needs to be recharged is if it has lost refrigerant for one reason or another.

I had mine recharged around 70k. If you have to recharge it usually means there is a leak somewhere.
