Default Most Comfortable Low-Profile Tires

Hello everyone,

My new to me car has the stock Bridgestones on it and I really can't stand them. They need to be replaced soon (likely next month) because the dealership installed them prior to the CPO purchase, so I thought that I would ask on the tires you guys are running for comfort but also retain the low-profile sidewall that the stock tires come with. I do not want high side-profile tires, which I suppose would limit my options to the best of the worst in terms of comfort, but I thought I'd ask anyhow...

I have tried Continental ExtremeContact Sport XLs and they had a harsher ride than the stock tires (but I was on 19"s), so I'm probably going to avoid those again, although the upside to those was that they lasted significantly longer than the Bridgestones.

So, anyone have any recommendations?

I like the Continental DWS06s. I know people say the sidewalls are soft and cornering is compromised but I love the smooth ride and mine are 19” as well

Why waste money. you have new tires so use em up! At any rate, #1 in everything will always be Michelin PS4 or whatever the current iteration is of that tire. if you wanted more comfort, then the AS version.

Thanks guys, I'll read the reviews on the Michelin AS4s and the Continental DSW06S.

And yeah, E46CT, I might wait until the incredibly short life of the Bridgestone tires is up until I buy new ones.

You say the A/S version might be more comfortable, but I think it's really a case-by-case thing. The DWS06 might be pretty comfortable, but I've heard the A/S 3+ are a bit louder and firmer. I've driven a couple cars with PS4 and PS4S, and they were definitely quiet.

I have the PS A/S3+ and they ride very well. Much better absorption of road imperfection than my previous Bridgestone RE760 sports that came with the car, all while still communicating feedback quite well. That being said.... they howl (at 75mph) and tramline like a MF at times, which can be annoying.

You will have to compromise 1 way or the other. Super high mileage tires are usually harder compound. Softer tires dont last as long, but are more quiet and grip better. May want to look for around 300 treadwear or high 200s, instead of like 400 or higher.
