Default Small rubbing issues

Hello people, so Im having small rubbing issues on the back wheels, with two people on the car, works fine, small rubbing in hard bumps but not constantly. If I sit two more person's on the back or load the car with something on the trunk not that heavy of course I start rubbing constantly on small bumps, more on the driver side.Trying to keep everything stock since is a daily use car and I don't want to do any fender work on it. Any ideas of what can I change or do? I have seen other folks running wider wheels and tires with Rsr down springs and they said they don't have any rub issues. I was thinking maybe changing the alignment or maybe camber arms. Thanks in advance.

2014 Is 350 F sport RWD

Actually running on:
Front-19/9/ et50 with 235-35 (no problems)
Rear-19/10/ et41 with 265-35 Falken tires, stock height.

Based on the specs the rear rim offset is just a hair too low and the tire is too big.
You could try dropping to a 265/30/19 in the rear to start...then if still slight rubbing, add camber arms (like the SPC ones) and adjust the camber a little more negative.

Are you sure on the front rim specs...seems pretty high at +50 to not be hitting the steering knuckle. A stock F Sport front rim is 18x8 et45.

Thanks for the reply. Yes the front is et50, gsf stock wheels with 20mm spacer on(only on front) no issues at all. Is just the rear and when the car is load. I just was curious because I have a buddy with the same setup running 275/30 on the back with the same wheels, no camber arms and he said, theirs no rubb even with 5 people on the car. So I was a little confuse there.

What I used to tell people (and started this trend on the german forums i was from) when they asked this question: get proper fitting wheels.

by definition if your aftermarket wheels are rubbing, you've chosen the wrong size for your car.

engineers already did the hard work and specified sizes and offsets for each model. all you have to do is sit back, relax, and enjoy their handiwork they get paid to do. Imagine that--you don't have to do any of the worrying or legwork of selecting wheels that won't cause damage.

Yep I realize you already bought them but short of drastically altering your alignment, telling your friends to take uber, or modifying (damaging) your fenders, there's really no way around this other than to simply get wheels and tires that fit.

With the 20mm spacer that explains why the front isn't hitting the steering knuckle...basically your +50 is now +30...which will fit just fine.
Your friends 275/30/19 is actually a smaller tire when it comes to diameter...by almost 3/4 of an inch.
Yes his tire is wider by 10mm, but his sidewall is shorter because his aspect ratio is 30% of 275mm, while yours is 35% of 265mm.
Basically his tire is smaller in the way it needs to not rub, but wider in a way that it doesn't cause rubbing.
Also the tire brand will make a difference. Are you both running the same tires?
Despite the size of the tire, there is enormous variance in the actual dimensions when comparing tires from different brands.
For instance if you buy Michelins, they have very square sidewalls that would be more prone to rub if clearance was an issue.
If you switch over to a Ventus, then you will notice more rounded sidewalls which will give you more clearance at the fender.

He is running michelin pilots, Im in falken azenis tires which they are pretty round on the corner. But what you say make a lot of sense on the tire size. I just wanted to have la normal tire and not a lil bit of rubber with the 265-30 but I guess that will be my next option. Go small on tire size. I was thinking put the camber arms and see how it works since is such a small distance what I need to get for clearence. What brand of camber arms you think is better in quality? I have seen must of the people use spc.

The SPC arms seem pretty popular and no one has reported issues with them, so that may be the best way to go.
There are some other brands out there, but you'd definitely be paying more.
