Default Optima Yellow Top Battery Help

Has anyone installed a optima yellow top in the 3IS?

My 2014 battery Is slowly starting to go and I’m looking to do an upgrade. If anyone has installed can you let me know which one you installed and if anything needed to be done.

Thank you!

(PS I searched the forum and did not find anything relating to the optima yellow top and no I don’t want a regular battery lol.)

I don't think Optima batteries will fit the 3IS. Checked the Optima website since I was looking into getting one eventually but couldn't find on that fits. Bes bet is to find another brand that provides the same requirements.

Thanks when I checked the optima site it said the red top 25 fits. But nothing on the yellow tops. I called optima and was suggested to try the d75/25 by the rep.

Hoping to find someone on here that had some luck with putting one in with no issues.

You can try to go down to size of battery (dimensions) and see if it fits properly. A Yellow Top would be great since it's a PITA to call for roadside and wait on the side of somewhere especially late at night.

Your best option would be to find the correct size Bosch AGM battery. Same same.
