Default SD navigation card malfunctioning

If i keep my current SD card in my maps slot the audio system will just keep resetting itself.

if i take the SD card out everything functions normally except i no longer have navigation. Other than calling the dealer and getting a new card (and likely having to pay for it) does anyone have any tips / recommendations on how i can fix it?

Welcome to the forum!

I don't think anyone has had this specific issue before, but here's some suggestions:

1. Remove the card and make sure there's nothing on it or it's not damaged. (I'm sure you've done that already)
2. Boot the system up with the card removed...when it's done loading up, then insert the card...what happens then? It should load the map data and presumably function normally.

I had this same issue when trying to use a used nav SD card I bought off of ebay. Instead of just telling me it could not use the card, it kept rebooting the system. Is this the original, working nav SD card?
