2020 3IS Availability
I always check Longo Lexus if I want to see new models. Largest Lexus dealer in the US (or even the world) so they usually get stuff first. They only have 2019s. 28 IS300s, and 1 IS350. A bit on the low side for a dealer as large as they are, so it shouldn't be too much longer.
2020 deliveries were slated for this month however there is a backlog of inventory deliveries at least in Canada and they still have the 2019's to clear out, heck last month I got a new 2018 off the lot. IS does sell like they used to... with that said 2018-2020 are basically the same car anyways so you could get a great deal off a new 2018 if you can find one or a good deal on a 2019.
Anybody know the difference between the 2019 and 2020? What exactly did they change?
Also, the 2019s had auto dimming side mirrors, is there any way to check to see if that is the case? How does one tell if a side mirror has auto dimming?

You can check the window sticker or test by covering the sensor on the front of the inner mirror and a light source shining into the mirror. If you get the interior mirror to dim, the exteriors will dim as well. Not sure if it’s standard, but my ‘17 has them.
Oh, so the rearview mirror sensor is the one which triggers and auto dims the rear AND the sides? In other words, to dim the outer mirrors, I'd have to shine the light at the rearview mirror first to trigger the electrochromic sensor, then shine a second light at the side mirror and watch to see if that one dims.
My 2018 IS300 AWD F Sport 2 has them as well so the 2020 should as well as there is no reason to remove them, they are likely the same part number for all three years.

To date, I've only found 3 with it installed, but the models were not in the color combo I'm looking for. I was looking at the NX300 as well and Mark Levinson is non-existent, as is the panoramic view monitor, and triple-beam LEDs. But I search like Kentucky or random outer states and they have models with these options built in. Don't get why SoCal barely has fully-loaded models.
