Default has anyone done -LED Back turn signal light 2018

i was wondering how do you remove it, i tried pushing down and pulling up to no avail. i have tried pulling it out towards me but i feel its going to snap so i stopped.
i was wondering if anyone has changed the back LED turn signal bulb in the 2018 model, and if so how did you get in the housing

After you remove the screws lay one hand flat on the side of the housing but i put my hand towards the bottom as it curves down. Grip is as much as possible while the hand is flat, use the other hand to grip the side towards the trunk. Push the housing with some force(not too much) and then very quickly and as much effort as you can while gripping hard, just pull it directly towards you. Make sure you tape up around the housing, first time you may scratch the paint, if you do this enough you don't need to worry about it too much and it won't be as hard as the first time. What I also did was push the side of the housing towards the trunk as well.

it shouldnt snap if thats what the manual says. you could try using a non-stratch pry tool for more leverage.
(like a trim piece removal tool that wont scratch, but tape it like they say if u want to be sure)

Literally stick your fingers at the top in the gap between the plastic piece and the body of the car and slightly wiggle until you feel it start to come off. You gotta put quite a bit of force. I do it all the time to clean that area out when I wash the car.

Grab the top and pull straight out. Same design as other Lexus models.
