Hey everyone, I recently purchased a used 2015 lexus is250 from a dealership, and apparently the person who traded it in never brought in their spare key, so I was left with only one. I took out the side key out of my key fob for the first time and it suddenly broke on me. I was wondering if that's easily replaceable, if it is, how much and how? Here is a picture of the key. At this point I think the easiest thing to do is get the dealer to order the blade key and cut it for you.
I've never replaced one, but I can't imagine it's terribly expensive. The entire Smart key is definitely expensive, but you don't need the whole thing.
