How are you adapting to not seeing a gauge cluster and the whole getting in the vehicle?
Honestly, just had it for the day doing crazy pulls. I got used to the speedometer very quick (like the first 20 minutes).

The door is unlocked when you approach your car with your phone in the pocket so no issues. It's hard to get used to all the functions. There are literally a million functions and super customizable. But the UI is better than any other company by a mile. Google maps integration is really sweet. The stereo sounds really great too (a lot like the ML). The brakes don't feel as good as the IS350 in terms of pedal feel. I think the IS350 was communicative through the steering wheel.

How does the size feel compared to the IS? Interior bigger or similar? Rear seats able to sit full adults/house a car seat?

The rear is bigger than the IS350 and the middle seat is way more useable because there is no hump in the middle. It's flat. It feels like a bigger car. Wider and longer.

Hmmm. It's more like a GTR. Using its AWD and torque to power it's way through corners. Just point and shoot. You feel the weight for sure.

Reliability was my biggest deciding factor. I've read so many stories of people needing this and that repaired on their Tesla.

I have friends that have had one for awhile and Powertrain reliability has been rock solid. The cosmetic reliability is where they needed servicing (trim, rattles, paint issues, etc...). If you live in Cali, EV life is easy due to the number of chargers.

Nice. It's a pretty trippy car, isn't it.

I got to try Autopilot for a brief drive it was very impressive I did feel nervous completely letting go of steering wheel and pedals but overtime you can get use to not driving especially in traffic.

Thanks. Appreciate it. I sold the car to someone I know so I will still be active to guide them as the car gets older. If anyone in San Diego is interested in a blendmount and mirrortap for the IS, PM me.

Yeah I don't think the 3 will have reliability problems. Any problems you've read about are on the model S which has been out for like 18 years. The 3 is a next gen design, everything is different. The facelift S is under development and will use the 3 internals/wiring etc from what I read.

But yeah I'd like a 3 one day.

What are you doing for home charging? Did you buy one of those chargers from amazon that will charge you in 8 hours vs. like 18? or something like that.

and by the way my IS used to get like 275 miles range on a good day, so with 250 miles you aren't that far off. lol just charge it every night

Congrats! I have driven two different 3's - a long-range RWD and a Dual Motor AWD. Both were a lot of fun to drive, but I couldn't get used to the regen braking. Lots of whiplash.

I really dig the combo of the red and the optional wheels.
