Default Screeching / squealing coming from driver side of car?

I hear it very loudly when I drive next to another stationary car (sounds like the screeching bounces off the car) and then when I turn all the way to the left it makes the noise in reverse. I haven't changed the brake pads and the car is at 34K miles. Could this be culprit, does this car have metal brake indicators?

I have my phone facing down outside driver's side window, it comes from this side, not the other.

Do you hear the noise only while braking? If so, yeah it's probably time to look at the pads. How long they last is all up to your driving conditions, however. My pads were just fine (5 mm in the front, 8 mm in the rear) when I last had them checked at 27,000 miles.

Could be just me...but I don't hear any sound in the video...meaning it's a video with no audio.
