Default Wiper blade suggestions

My wiper blades are due for a swap and I placed an order for a pair of Bosch Icons for $30 (on sale).

As well regarded as the Icons are, I wonder if they can compete with Lexus' OEM blades.

Judging by how most cars on the road are economy, I don't think the "good" reviews about Bosch Icons mean all that much.

But this is all just my speculation as I don't have a first-hand experience to know the difference between the Icons and the OEMs.

Has anyone used them both that can chime in?

Also, I was looking for the OEM blade refills on ebay but the price seems to have gone up significantly.

I was only able to see $20/EA refills... Last I heard, people were buying refills for around $7~$8 on ebay.

Anyone know where to get OEM refills for a reasonable price?

I did however come across a pair of Lexus OEM Blades for $30 with $7 shipping.

Bosch Icons are pretty much the best aftermarket blades out there. I had them on my previous cars. I recommend getting silicone blades though, those are the best. I really like the OEM blades just not sure who supplies them etc.

Try Denso Hybrid wiper blades. They should be oem type upgraded. I just got a pair 2 weeks ago and they are fantastic. For my IS, I bought Denso Hybrid DU-045L and DU-060L, around 30 bucks.

When I replaced my wipers the first time I went with an aftermarket pair (I'm thinking it may have been Bosch Icon), they didn't perform near as well as the oem's and didn't seem to make good contact on the outer edge on the passenger side.
I replaced those fairly quickly with oem's and haven't strayed since. I find the oem wipers to be excellent.

Just get OEM inserts if the actual wiper is still good. Nothing performs better than OEM.

My dealer replaced mine at no cost to me at my last service with OEM rubber blades, which work fantastically. If they didn't do that I'd probably go for the Denso Hybrid blades, since silicone should in theory perform better.

Bought the Goodyear blades at Costco for $8 apiece. Do as well as OEM as far as I can tell in the snow and rain. The blades last about 3-4 years. OEM lasted 4 years until they tore. Top of the line blades are mostly the same in quality based on my decades of owning cars.

+1 for the Bosch Icons. I don't think I've ever used any other brand of wiper for any of my cars, after replacing the original ones.
