Problems with Ventilated Seats on IS350 F-Sport

I wanted to chime in on this, my car seat heats up after an hour, I live in south Florida and I don't need heated seats and since ventilation won't work I would like to remove that panel and put in some usb chargers or something.
This feature is useless to me, if the ventilation would help on a hot day it would be worth it.

Here's the solution. Drive the car to the Arctic circle, keep it there for a few hours in a cold soak, get back in the car, turn on the ventilated seats. Works perfect.
Seriously though, I think the ventilated seats in at least my IS are a total waste. I'm not sure I'd call it rocket science or not, but if my car is in the sun & heat for some time, I get into the car, start it up and turn the seat ventilation on, the seat back surface definitely feels hot (heated). Even in the passenger seat, where no one is sitting, the surface of the seat back gets HOTTER that it was before I turned the ventilated seat on. Why doesn't the bottom seat cushion get hot?
Unfortunately most of my trips in the car after it's sitting outside in the sun are 20 minutes long... not long enough for the ventilation to ever feel non-hot.
Mine is a 2014. Not sure if Lexus has improved this since then. I'm surprised they haven't just move to cooled seats by now.

They are for the most part useless. I only use them on 30+ minute trips since that's about how long it takes before the car is completely cool.

Well thank you all for helping me understand the term better.. Of course when I thought ventilated seats I would think "Cooled Seats" not really thinking ventilated as just "airing out".
