Hi dear friends. What do I need to buy to install blind spots?
1. Button
2. Mirrors with BSM
3. Two blind spot modules
4. What else....?

 

The IS has multiple spots on the rear bumper as well as the indicators on the mirrors. The biggest issue you’ll have is whether or not you have the harness connection to plug the modules up at the rear of your vehicle, plus programming to the ecu. If I’m not mistaking, this was either an option that would have the connections there on non F-sport models and F-sport models would not. If I am wrong, accept my apologies.

 

Some F Sport models do have it, but I don't know if that's been since 2014 MY. My 2018 F Sport has all the safety tech so BSM, PCS, ADCS, etc. You wouldn't really know until you got in there.

 

My 2016 F Sport has BSM as well.

 

I wish this came standard. I do miss it on my 15 F Sport too.

 

The glass alone is very expensive. very. very. expensive.

your best bet is to get some aftermarket kits. they are starting to come out with them.
