What are coins?

It's all about phone pay now. Then again, anything's easier than counting out change.

 

Then again, some of us have reverted to cash-only as much as possible. Pockets work just fine.

 

I honestly cannot remember the last time I used a coin outside of a Chuck E. Cheese's. I don't know anyone that DOES carry coins. Everyone pays for everything via card.

... Except those who collect cash payments for some things that they're hiding from Uncle Sam...

 

I rarely have cash on me, but I do keep quarters whenever I can. You never know when quarters can come in handy. Especially if an unexpected homeless person comes around and their story is touching. And when I need to fill my tires with air.

 

I can't remember the last time I had cash on me and I definitely never have change haha.

 

You guys make me feel like a pleb. I still use coins for parking and tolls here

 

I never carry cash or coins since they are rarely ever needed. Most parking meters have been updated to accept cards but once in a while I run into an old relic that only takes quarters. I end up raging and wishing I could run it over.

 

I'm so glad they've started adding web/app payment as an alternative for the older meters, at least as far as I've been observing.

 

I never use cash either - all credit card for purchase (a single one) and pay it off on pay day. For things like coffee, I have a pre-paid coffee card for those that knows Tim Horton (in Canada).....

whats this card or cellphone for payments?? thats so 2017.... I use my Galaxy watch for payments.

 

I just use a coin purse I got from Okinawa that I keep in the glovebox.
I actually have the ebay tray and just use it to hide my charger cables, and it keeps my sunglasses within reach
