Default 2019 Lexus IS 300 Black Line Edition

http://pressroom.lexus.com/releases/...al-edition.htm

Looks like a new special edition, the Black Line edition, is on the way.

From the article:
  • A limited-production sport sedan with a unique look and feel
  • Exclusive “Black Vapor Chrome” wheels, black side mirrors and red interior accents
  • Equipped with triple beam headlights and navigation system

This seems like Lexus renamed the "Crafted Line Edition" to the "Black Line Edition"

Yeah I am hoping they actually look different in person. There's a difference between the 2015 and 2016+ wheels - the 2015 appears to be darker. Maybe it's similar to that?

Then again, on the LS's packages page, they have them listed, with a low-res preview image to match.

https://www.lexus.com/models/LS/packages

I found another pic of the LS with those wheels equipped:

I'm up for a new lease but I'm thinking you wouldn't be able to lease the Black Line?

I don't see why not. It's just a cosmetic package/special edition.

I never got it. Black trim looks 10x better than chrome on 99% of cars.

Not to mention, it would complement the black mirrors nicely. Having black trim would kinda lower the profile of the side of the car, if you will.

Idk, I like the interior, but the exterior updates are not enough. I hope the wheels turn out to be... something at least.

You'll most likely be able to. My parents leased the crafted-line GS F Sport and that's a limited edition as well.

I like it. I think they executed this much better than the Crafted Line.
