Sumitomo tires???
Hey Folks
I was thinking about to buy a new set of Sumitomo Tires HTR A/S P02 for my lexus IS . I live in South Florida so is summer and rain along the year

they've been good on my wife's IS350 for 17K miles and look like they can go at least 4-5k more. doesn't rain much here in SoCal but they've been fine so far. They aren't the sportiest tires, but if you want a good tire for running around town that will last a long time, then they're pretty good.

Firestone Firehawk Indy 500s.
If you need a bit more siping for rain stuff, Hankook Ventus V12s.
Only two tires I would ever put on this car due to the way they wear. The first one threatens even the top performance summer tire regardless of price... and happens to be the cheapest. AND the best looking.
Second is old but still great bang for the buck. Personally tested in pouring rain w/ aggressive RWD canyon carving (on a BMW). Very aggressive performance. both would offer astonishing performance and value.
