The 2IS forum is going nutso over these. People are getting sets as low as $323 shipped. These are $70 brand new from my local dealer. All the dealers seem to have similar prices. Plug these part #s into your local dealer site:
Personally I'd get four rears and slap some Firehawk Indy500s on them. You'd be set to CONQUER!! for the price of peanuts.
Front
PTR59-53130
Rear
PTR59-53131

Its a conservative design, but I think they look great especially for the price point. Supposedly they weigh 1-2 lb(s) less than stock (does that really matter tho?) and are 5mm lower offset than stock (40mm and 45mm, front and rear, compared to 45mm and 50mm). Honestly, for a $70 OEM rim, you could do far worse. No wonder the 2is forum is going nuts.

Great upgrade for non F Sport drivers. These looks WORLDS better than 95% of the aftermarket juvenile junk you find out there. The ones that put the "teen" in "nineteens"
A way to get a good staggered 18" 255 square setup for performance. Maybe even 265 square.
Not hard parking.
Keep in mind these are $2500 option when you buy an IS. These could even be investments. they'll go way up for sure later on. i thought about buying a set just to hoard.

It's not about hard parking and pimping. It's about Genuine Lexus staggered wheels for $70 each. This is a clear upgrade for someone who has a non f-sport with the standard wheels who wants a performance upgrade. 265 squared would be a beastly performance upgrade.
This isn't about showing off at car meets with stanced suspension.

I dont know how everyone is drawing their conclusions, or what type of wheel they're comparing this to, but this is how I see it.
I dont think comparisons should be drawn between a $70 wheel to a $200 or $500 wheel. You wouldnt compare a Metro Geo to a Toyota Camry, or even Mercedes S-Class. You would compare a 5 series to an E class though. Im exaggerating the comparisons to make a point. Compared to other wheels that cost $100 and below, I think these look good, not saying they are beautiful by any length.
But as JBison73 said, "Everyone sees things differently"
