And you are assuming I was referring to you. I'm just saying most people don't understand that if an upgrade would be retroactively available, they would have to not only upgrade the software but also develop new hardware. Depending on how easily accessible the USB ports are on the car, they could have to take a large part of the dash apart just to install it.
I’m saying that because when we were talking about the ECU update you mentioned OVA lol. Didn’t mean it in a rude way just thought it was funny.
I think you're confusing me with another member. I never said anything about an ECU or any OTA update to it.
My bad. Somebody else had mentioned the whole OVA when I mentioned the 2019 ECU update. I was like if anyone mentions an OVA update for an ECU I’m going to be shocked and question their logic. Anyways, this 4x4 unit with android auto and Apple CarPlay ought to do the trick since Lexus isn’t cooperating d:
I just hope that this update is one of those you can decline when the popup appears on the screen. I know it will get annoying declining it though every single car startup.

Um, there's a setting that could switch off to disable that popup. Did that during week 1 of my ownership
Sorry for the double-post, but I want to point out something mentioned in a previous post.

The Enform App could refer to one of two things:
* Enform App Suite
* Enform Remote
The App Suite is free and does not require a subscription. The Remote is not, unless you have the complimentary service during your first year/10 years (depending on when you purchased it). I assume the poster here was referring to the App Suite. Yeah it is pretty useless for me outside of Pandora and pre-entering destinations.

So I actually find it interesting that Lexus offered the 10 years free of Enform App Suite and 1 Year of Enform Remote and this was for the 2018's which is what I got. It looks like for the 2019's you get 10 years complimentary for both which is pretty dumb lol. They come out with the smallest things to handout to make a sale.

Enform App Suite is always free. There's no additional complimentary stuff other than Enform services like the Remote. Maybe the Remote is one year, and the Safety Connect is 10 for 2018s?

Safety Connect is what I meant. Anyways, yeah supposedly for 2019’s remote is 10 years too now.
Edit: Remote is still a 1 year complimentary subscription for the 2019 IS.
