Default Electrical HELP! Installing GS-100A Strobe Brakelight

Hello! This is my first post on the ClubLexus forum. I always seem to find helpful information on here, so hopefully one of you would be willing to help me. I’ve recently purchased a GS-100A strobe LED stoplight conversion for fairly cheap and I tried to install it on my third brake light but it did not work. I’m assuming I’m connecting the unit to the wrong wires. I tried using the wires coming out of the third brake light socket, the black& white wire, and a solid black wire. I tried connecting red to black and white and black to black but alas it did not work. I’m afraid to try any other connection for the simple fact of shorting something. I have done this on a 2015 Toyota Camry before so I know it’s really not that hard. I just need to know where the parking light wire is to the third brake light and the ground connection and I should be good to go. I have a 2014 Lexus IS 350 f sport. Thank you all very much..

Welcome to the forum!
Based on what you have written, I believe you made the connections properly, but I don't think your unit is necessarily compatible with the IS.
Firstly, the third brake light does not have a Parking light wire, it's just Power (Black) and Ground (White/Black stripe).
Also, all the IS Brake lights are LED, powered from an Integration Relay...the Camry you mentioned would not have had this, or LED brake lights.
Here the diagram below, but I think a different unit is really what you need.

Bummer. I wanted to add a blinking brake light somewhere on the car but I guess it makes sense. Do you know of any other ways I could
possibly add a blinking Strobe light effect to the LED itself? I know it’s possible.. if not I’m out $15 dollars but it is what it is.

According to the discretion for the product, it's supposed to work with LED lights, however, not all cars have an Integration ECU type controller for the brake lights.
If you wired it in series with the third brake light Power and Ground, what does the brake light do when you step on the brakes?

Could the unit be defective? Do you have a bulb you can test it with on the battery terminals of the car.
Seems weird it just does nothing.
