It may be worth checking with your insurance if that is something that would be covered under the uninsured motorist portion. My wife's car was once hit in a parking lot while she was inside, no one left a note or took responsibility. The insurance covered the repair under uninsured motorist and we were not responsible for a deductible. It's worth a shot!
