Default Hardwiring a dash cam

Has anyone successfully hardwired a dash cam. I have the kit but I want to make sure I hit the right fuses bothe accessory and constant battery.

Anyone?

Yup very easy. Just need a power and ground. Use multimeter to confirm. I used wires located in the harness above the sunroof switch panel. Switched 12V and ground. Use a wire tap so it's clean.

Lay out the wiring on a table and visualize what you need to do, how much wire you can trim/cut off, etc. Very small space, won't need much wire.

Here's my fuse tap for both accessory and constant power for parking mode.

What do you think about his set up? He didn’t use piggybacks but just stick the wire in the fuse slot and connected the existing fuse.

It's best to use a piggyback but the issue with the piggyback is that the fuse cover can't be place back in.
