Default New Rim/Wheel Specs help

Hello everyone,

I did a lot of research through these forums but would like to see someone can provide any information directly or any guidance/help.

I have a 2016 IS 350 F Sport AWD

I just ordered some new wheels on CarID.

MRRŽ - GF6 Black (19" x 8.5") 35 offset on the front
19 x 9.5 in the rear 38-45 offset (offset hasnt been determined yet as the manufacturer determines i assume - ordered on CarId and emailed them asking this question just now)

(225/35ZR19 W) Front tire size
(265/30ZR19 W) Rear Tire Size

I see that a lot of people run 235 in the front. Will the 225 be an issue? Unfortunately, this is the only size CarID offered.

Also, i plan on getting RSR downs for my AWD. I don't care for too much of a drop but i think super downs would be pushing it for me.

Let me know what you guys think and thank you in advance.

You would be ok with the rims regardless of what offset they come back with for the rear, once it's within the range you mentioned.
As for the tires, the 235/35 is a closed circumference match to the 265/30.
If you are going with the 225/35, then the closest circumference match would be 255/30.

Thanks Sasnuke! I appreciate your help as I've seen you've helped a lot of people on this thread. It is a sigh of relief that the rims will be fine. Also, it looks like they are sticking with the 225 265. Is there a specific issue with this for the car?

In terms of AWD vehicles, it's always important that the wheels closely match in circumference so that the AWD system, and the other safety systems work properly.
In reality, many have run the 225/265 combo without issues, and in terms of size differences between the 225/235/255/265, honestly you likely can't even see it with the naked eye.

Their tire size recommendations will be fine.

Would I have a problem with 235/35 and 275/30? I have 225/35 8" front and 255/30 9.5" rear right now but I want more sidewall in the back to fill in some fender gap but im just not sure if it will affect the ride of the car.
