Default How do I take this off?

Hello, everyone!

First time posting here. I own a 2014 Lexus IS350 F-Sport and I wanted to put a new battery in but ran into a problem. The gray plastic thing in the picture won't come off and I was wondering if anyone here knows how to take it off.

Jam a flat blade screw driver between the black bracket and the grey tab it will release the tab from the bracket.

Jammed a flat head screwdriver and still won't come off.

That looks like the wrong spot. The tip if the screwdriver should be between the plastic and the metal bracket. As soon as you get the tip in, you can apply a bit of downward force to push the plastic tab away from the metal. This will release the "tooth" that holds the assembly onto the bracket.
