I'm running an Itronics ITB-100HD since couple years with pretty good quality and absolutely no problems!

Here's one of by best catch, which could have ended way worst than it did...

i have installed a lot of dash cams both good value and chinese entry level...
For me there a 3 brands for a good quality : black vue-thinkware-black sys
I use myself a Blackvue DR430 2 ch,( mine is not he best ), but i can see the licence plate and it is correct in night whereas some entry level product tend to crash on recording ,to be grainy at night and sometimes impossible to see a licence plate when the vehicule is moving. I prefer Blackvue only for the parking mode... for the price i prefer the 2 others

Holy S#it. Good thing you were focused on driving! A split second focusing on anything else and I dont know if that could have been avoided. Thanks for sharing that video. Glad nothing bad happened...

try this Aukey low budget front and back then eventually upgrade to F800 Pro when the price drops
I have this one (Aukey DR02), just installed yesterday. Really like it. Looks like a factory addition to the car, cameras are very unobtrusive and OEM looking. Here's some pics. Rear camera is not so great at night, particularly the glare from lights distorts the image but for the price I expected that and I imagine that it can be somewhat remedied with some fine tuning of the settings. Will have to watch some youtube videos to figure out what ideal night time settings are.

RSC Nano Dash Cam...100CAD...Wifi, motion sensor and Sony Lens...Loving it simply because it is so stealth that no one will notice that it is there unless they stare... #nextmod hook up FTW

I'm running a Vantrue N2 Pro and Cellink B dashcam battery pack. Will last about 10 hours on park mode and no need to hardwire.

Do you guys have your cameras wired to an external source so it can keep running while the engine is off/car parked ? If so, how does one go about doing that?

Questiion. Are these cameras all hardwired? I mean, can I even hardwire a leased car? I wanted something that could be plug and play.

I have the Vantrue X3, plugs into the car port, but i opted for buying a different cable to plug into the USB port. Decent quality. Got it for $110 on amazon through a promotion, but I believe it would run you around 160 now
