I made a post about them and a lot of people didn't have issues with the Michelin Pilot Sport A/S 3+ but everyone has a different experience!
Im not saying this is the case but from everything I read the Michelin’s are noisy and twitchy for the first 500-1000 miles and then they break in and get quieter and comfortable. While I am still using the stock tires I know that the first 1000 miles on them was a harsh ride and now that I’m past that point they feel very comfortable to drive on.

When these do do wear I plan on getting the Michelin’s just because I trust them.

I had the DWS06 tires on my Subaru WRX and while they were very comfortable they had the worst overnight flat spotting issues I have ever experienced. They would smooth out after a few minutes of driving but the steering wheel would shake until they did.

Hope you are right about the break in period lol. Purchased the A/S 3+ a few weeks ago and are very loud. I had PSS prior so my ears may not be used to all seasons. From everything I have read on other forums, you cant go wrong with the DWS.

I was a fan of them on my previous car so when it was time to change tires on my IS350 I went with the DWS06 again. Very smooth ride, great grip all year round.

I have had the OEM Bridgestones, Michelin AS3’s and Conti DWS 06’s on my “14. Both the Bridgestones and Michelins gave me under 15,000 miles, with the Michelins never loosing their noisiness, even after break in. I am very pleased with the Conti’s. The wear, ride and noise are the best of the three.

I completely understand there could of been a break in period. But why didn't the DWS06s have a rough break in period? They ride not as smooth as the stock but very close to it. Everyone has a different experience, mine just happened to be crappy.

Has anyone noticed any kind of flat spotting overnight on their IS with the DWS06's?

Like I said I loved them on my WRX but that was an issue people reported with the WRX and the DWS06 specifically and that I can confirm I experienced every single day I had them on my car..

Im looking for feedback as well for the most comfortable tires. Honestly I don't need super performance or long wear. those would be nice but not at the cost of a harsh ride..

Can I please get a clarification about road noise on the Pilot Super Sports, Pilot Sport A/S 3+ and the DWS06s?

I am looking for a long tread life, great dry performance and quiet road noise to replace my OEM F Sport tires.

The A/S 3+ and DWS06 have decent dry performance but not as good as a good summer tire like the Super Sports. Have you considered those? The only issue is that summer tires need replacing every 20k but the performance is unbelievable.

I dont even take on-ramps at a high speed, I just want a great all around tire that will last and isnt loud/noisey.

Pilot sports are loud, they don't really quiet down don't listen to those that claim there is a break in period. Even if there was, the end result is still very loud. I only noticed when I drove my dads '13 RX350. Got back in my is350 and was like holy hell was that always there?
