I love my Invidia Q300 axelback. I know some people say it isn't loud enough, but it is loud enough for me. I am trying to maintain a professional persona while still having some fun. I recommend getting the axelback and seeing if it meets your needs then get the midpipe later. My auto shop installed the axelback for $60, so it wouldn't be too much of a loss if you decided to put the midpipe on later.

It didn't get louder but the tone changed. It got a lower sound and less rattle, maybe even a little quieter. Which I was grateful for
