Default IS 200t questions

Have had my IS for just over a month. Have some questions and I hope others will comment with feedback. First of all, my gas mileage is absolutely terrible. I'm getting barely over 18 MPG. I do not drive with a heavy foot and drive mainly in "Normal" mode. Sticker says you should get 22 city, 32 highway, with a combined average of 26. I'm not even close to this. What do others experience in regards to MPG?

Second, I am unable to connect to my Pandora unless my phone is connected to the USB cable. And then, when connected, my Scout GPS link will not ever connect to my car. I have an iphone 6 and running version 11.0.3. I called Lexus Enform today and they said there are known issues with IOS 11. However, IOS 11 has been out for quite a while now. Have others experienced these same issues?

I had my 200t just over year, when I first pick up the car MPG was terrible, I think was around 16 MPG. MPG will improve over time, my MPG is 25 now. Never had issues with my iPhone, never update my IPhone too. Not sure how to help.

Mpg will improve after the break in period. I noticed better mileage after 2k miles. My combined is now averaging 23mpg.

Pandora should work on your car if you have the Enform App Suite installed on your phone and it says "connected" once you get a Bluetooth connection to your car.

I have had an issue with Enform on my phone where the Enform App would not connect to my car. The Bluetooth would work as I could stream straight from my phone, but the App Suite was broken. I had to restore my phone as new (iOS 11) and not use a prior Restore file for Enform to connect to my car. It runs perfectly right now. It's not the car...its more likely software bugs on the phone.

Thanks for the info. How long did you have the car before you noticed an increase in the MPG?

I avg about 23.1 mpg combined.

I realized your vehicle is a non nav since you state it has the Scout GPS Link. I don't think the non nav has the Enform App Suite. You should be able to launch Pandora on your phone, make sure bluetooth is on and select bluetooth from your media screen. For Scout GPS link to work, you will also need BT and pair it with the Scout GPS Link from the vehicle.

I've had mines for a year and a half, gas mileage still horrible. I'm getting 19.8mpg, no where near the 22/33 and combined average of 26.
I am slightly heavy on the pedal, but even then this is no where near 26mpg. I just drive in Normal mode and Sport once in a while.

Is the re-flash tune something the dealer does? Do they charge for this?

What you say “should” work in regards to Pandora, but it doesn’t. Only will work if connected via USB cable. Re: Scout, Enform told me had to be connected via USB, but in my car still won’t work. The Bluetooth for Scout won’t connect to my phone, even though my phone shows that the car is connected. I’m taking it in to the shop next week.

You should speak to a Lexus Technology Specialist at the dealership.

No, a re-flash tune actually voids your warranty since it puts more stress on the engine.
