Safe to attach to our mirrors? Won't affect the heating feature? Easy to get off again?

It's just 3m adhesive. It shouldn't affect your heated mirrors since it's not different that putting a sticker on a piece of glass.
As far as removal, you'll have probably want to use heat and possibly a razor (plastic preferred).

You just clean the mirror with alcohol, and stick it where you want it. I can take a picture of how it sits on my mirrors later

If you think you might possibly curb your wheels, then the best thing to do is not park next to curbs.

At least until you get more driving experience under your belt.

Ive used rim protectors. I recommend you NOT use them.

Pros: protected my rims for over a year.

Cons: Flew off at 80mph a year after install and marked my paint. Thankfully the damage wasnt terrible. But the glue has left an ugly residue on my wheels. An easy fix Im sure, but seeing and hearing a rim blade flap about at 80mph hitting your paint made me cringe to no end. Was able to remove the rubber stain on my paint.

I have pics of the after install if interested.
