"Maintenance required soon" & yellow triangle light
Hello all!
2015 IS350 f sport w/ 45k miles (purchased at 43k, she's very new to me) and I'm getting this alert on start up, but it goes away within a minute or two. Oil definitely doesn't appear to need to be changed, and beyond that I'm clueless.
Suggestions?
MUCH APPRECIATED

It's basically a bunch of visual inspections..... you can reset the light yourself as shown above. Since you just bought the car, I'd hope that the selling dealer inspected the car before selling it to you.
• Rotate tires and adjust tire pressures as required
• Replace smart key battery*
• Clean air conditioner filter
• Reset maintenance reminder light
• Road-test vehicle
• Check installation of driver's floor mat*
• Inspect and adjust all fluid levels
• Inspect axle shaft boots
• Inspect ball joints and dust covers
• Inspect body
• Inspect brake lines and hoses
• Inspect engine coolant
• Inspect exhaust pipes and mounting
• Inspect rack and pinion steering assembly
• Inspect steering linkage and boots
• Visually inspect brake pads, calipers and rotors

oil change computer shows the maintenance required every 5,000 miles.. likely the oil was changed before you bought it after the last reset, and whomever changed the oil didn't reset the computer.
if you reset it now, it will come back in 5,000 miles, if you feel safe the oil will last 5K miles from now reset it, if not reset it when you do the oil change.
