Default Quad diagonal exhaust for Toms diffuser

I知 looking at buying the Toms rear diffuser but I知 not down to spend over $1500 for a axle back from them.. are there other quad exhaust options that are diagonal like the Toms?

Why not make your own with custom mufflers? Then you can have the hangers positioned however you'd like, even at specific angles.

I too would like to go this route. However customizing diagonal quad on a muffler is one thing. Getting it into the OEM rear bumper trim is another thing to overcome.

Good idea. Do you know anyone who did this to their IS?

An alternative would be to have a muffler shop just cut and weld on new tips that you like, they should be able to weld new hangers for you in the right positions. I had a muffler delete done so they just welded hangars onto the piping for me to reuse factory hanging points. I have just piping coming out and clamp on style muffler tips that I can position deeper in or further out, or rotate. The muffler shop should be able to weld and position tips for you however you like them though. But their choices of muffler tips may vary from shop to shop, but you should be able to supply your own tips. Just need to know the piping diameter if you go this route.

You can measure the diffuser cutouts and kinda see how big or small of tips you want to get?
