Default New Member Intro and Warranty Question.

First a little introduction..

Hello! I am a proud owner of a 2015 IS350 F-Sport Nebula Gray. (Dont worry pics will come soon). Traded in my 2016 Focus ST with Ford Racing Exhaust, Intake, Tune, and Cold Range Plugs. Before that I had a Fiesta ST, and then an 2010 Cobalt SS/TC, 08.5 Audi A4 S-line, then a 2006 GTO, 2004, GTO, a few LS1, and LT1 F-Bodies, and it just kinda all stents from there. 32 years old, and have one little girl, 2.5 years of age. And expecting another on the way hence moving to something just a hair bigger than the Focus to at least fit a rear facing car seat in and still enjoy my drives!

Anyways this vehicle I bought has the Nav screen peeling away at the top which I believe may be a common issue, but I'm not really too concerned about it as it's not that bad. But my main concern is the steering wheel around the F-Sport logo has start to come apart. Enough to where the bottom of the F-Sport logo is slightly covered by the wheel cover from the bolster coming out, and I can't imagine it getting better over time.

Normally this would be a cut and dry repair but the vehicle is at 51,400 miles. The previous owner didn't think to get it done under warranty, and obviously something like that doesn't typically happen in 1400 miles. Me being a service manager for Kia, and experience with Ford, and Nissan I know there are good will programs but the local Lexus dealers are fighting me pretty hard on it. Curious if you guys could give me any pointers as I know... Well, nothing about Lexus or their operations.
