I was thinking similar too. I can get a dashcam BlackVue or iRoad model which has both front and back cameras for cheaper than that and have it installed hard wire if I wanted.

Blackvue or thinkware, you don’t want that big piece of junk on your windshield anyways.

Looks pretty cool but the US conversion turns out to be $415? damn.

I love my Mobius. 5 SoCal summers triple digit heat, 4 different cars, still kickin'!

That's awesome that Lexus is now providing a dashcam but I wish they could make it have a more integrated look and not look like such an aftermarket add-on. Also, for the price I feel like you get a lot less bang for your buck compared to aftermarket selections. I paid $399 (US) last month for Blackvue DR750-2CH off of Amazon and did the install myself. If the next version could just be integrated into the rear view mirror or overhead console that would be awesome.

Agreed. For $700 it better have damn near seamless integration.

Might be a stupid question but does this work on US model cars?

I don't see how it wouldn't work for the US version. It's just a dashcam.

I also think it would install in a US vehicle. I just had one installed in my CDN RX350 (2017) for $450 ($350 USD).
