Default Fuse Question Perhaps?

so, my f-sport instrument cluster isn't working correctly. there are a few lights on as well, but the dealership is dealing with those. the dealership is telling me i either need to replace a fuse (but won't tell me which) or replace the instrument cluster in its entirety.

when shutting off the engine the cluster doesn't do that cool animation/graphic thing where the cluster collapses upon itself until it reaches a line in the center and then that line winds up to a point and finally shuts off. rather, mine is just shutting off. all black.

because the dealership is being of no use, i wanted to know if anyone knowledgeable in the above can help me out. the car is currently at the dealership, although i'm going to pick it up tomorrow.

I feel like this should be covered by warranty (if you still are under warranty)? Sounds like something is not working mechanically right in the cluster. Have you tried to disconnect the battery and leave it for a while and connecting it again?

The manual should have a page with all the fuse designators. I think the fuse box is underneath by the steering column.
Didn't you say you've spent a lot of time and money installing this F-Sport cluster? It would totally suck if it's already broken.
Fuses don't usually just blow.
