Default doing too much??

So today I went to the dealer with intentions of buy all weather mats for my car..I really wanted to F sport ones (could've sworn I seen some) for the IS but I guess they couldn't find any so I bought this license plate plaque instead!! I really like it but concerned it's too much chrome going on..would appreciate some feedback and thoughts!!

You don't have a license plate to mount there?.. that would cover the whole thing making it pointless.

haha just a little 👌🏽 But I figure the cops have better things to do then to worry about a license plate

No front plate is one thing...but no rear plate is asking for it.

Cause 90% of the time, people and police will be coming from the rear. If don't they see a plate, they will most likely want to pull you over.

Other than not, no front plate no problem, since I will be going so fast; they will always be looking at my rear.

Looks tacky, to me, and you're asking for a ticket. Find a license plate frame you like and run the plate.

Please put a license plate there - save yourself the trouble!

FWIW, I got a carbon fiber plate frame, which I like a lot. It's pretty subtle.

"Legally" in most states you need both plates on the proper locations. I've gotten pulled over in WA state for having my front plate on my windshield. I personally don't use the front plate cause it makes our cars look ugly but I take that risk. As far as the chrome, I think it's tacky for our cars. But to each there own!

This is absolutely dumb. People do get by with no front plates (in my case, I got pulled over for not having one a few days ago unfortunately), but no REAR plates???? you are just asking for it.

Also the chrome looks tacky like everyone said. Get the retro Black/Yellow CA plates if the white one bothers you that much.

Since you’re in California you’re just asking for trouble. No front plate is one thing but no rear cops will pull you over for sure.
