Default AWD 19" Tire Sizing

Was thinking of doing enkei raijin

F:19x8.5 +35 235/35/19
R:19x9.5 +35 275/30/19

I don't plan on lowering the car because of boston roads and the places I go have very steep parking lot entrances/ramps will it rub does anyone have experience running that size? I don't care about wheel gap.

Just a suggestion since the vehicle is AWD...go with 265/30/19 on the rear to keep the circumference the same as the front tires. If it was RWD, I'd probably still suggest it to make sure the other safety systems function ok.
If you're not lowering then the +35 offset on the back should be ok...+40 would be better...if available.

Bump. Ready to bite the bullet this week but before I do does anyone have experience with +35 offsets in the rear with a 9.5" tire with 265 diameter tires? Will it rub? After researching RSR downs on AWD the drop is not much and I may pursue it at a later date will it rub?

it'd be a super aggressive fit, and may look funny if you're not lowered. it might rub, but at stock height, you might be ok.

I have 10" rims +42 with 265-30s and RSR downs and don't rub.

Using Napalvr's setup as a reference for one that doesn't rub, here is his math compared to the OP's proposed setup:

Napalvr's setup:
10 inch wide rim with +42 offset - 10 inches equals 254mm, so the center of the rim is at 127mm (half of 254mm)
With a +42mm offset, that means the hub mounting surface of the rim is 42mm to the outside of the center of the rim.
So from the hub mounting surface of the rim to the outside edge of the rim, that's 85mm...or about 3.3 inches (approx.)

Your proposed setup:
9.5 inch wide rim with +35 offset - 9.5 inches equals 241.3mm, so the center of the rim is at 120.6 mm (half of 241.3mm)
With a +35mm offset, that means the hub mounting surface of the rim is 35mm to the outside of the center of the rim.
So from the hub mounting surface of the rim to the outside edge of the rim, that's 85.6mm...or about 3.3 inches (approx.)

I think you can take from that your answer.
This doesn't take into account specific rim design or the tread width of the physical tire...not just the manufacturers sizing on the sidewall, but the actual tread width.
