How much did it end up costing you to replace? My sunroof is having the same issue.

 

My car was still covered under warranty, so it didn't cost me anything. What year and mileage is your car?

 

late post but im having same issue right now with my 14 is250. sunroof works when it wants too so i stopped using it and took it to lexus. they quoted me $1243 to replace the motor as they said it was on its way out. So im just going to buy the motor and attempt to replace it myself.

 

How difficult was it to replace the motor?
