On my 14 IS250 I had to replace the battery and three weeks later it was completely dead. This is odd to me, I didn't leave any lights on so I'm baffled by this. My car has 29k miles is the alternator a warranty covered item?

anyone else had issues with this?

its worth noting that I do only drive the car 2-3 times per week due to public transit

 

The 2014 model has a common battery drain issue. Complain to the dealer and they can fix it.

I have the same exact issue, mine actually died at the airport parking lot last night after only leaving it for 2 days.

Lexus has posted a TSB for this exact issue, Gateway ECU TSB L-SB-0035-16. Bring that up to Lexus, I have an appointment with them later this week.

 

Yes I have an appointment to take it in to Lexus tomorrow. So we'll see what they say
