Default Best Fuel Injector Cleaner?

I recently purchased a 2014 IS250 with 22K miles. I've read about carbon build up issues for previous generation ISs so I figured it might best to occasionally use some fuel injector cleaner. Is there consensus among forum members on which brand or type is best?

chevron's techron additive is pretty good. fuel injector cleaners will do little for the prevention of carbon buildup on the 250's engine, though. port injection is ideal as the fuel is constantly running over the surfaces prone to the accumulation of carbon buildup.

that said, since the second half of 2010, the engine modifications that toyota/lexus made have transformed a previously very problematic issue into a minor one. don't worry too much about it.

I like Red Line SI-1 cleaner and have been using it for years on all my cars.

I used liqui moly cleaner since it is the best that I could get around here for a reasonable price. I think adding an injector cleaner every 25k miles is good for the car since after some period without cleaning the injectors and the throttle you will face rough idling.
Beware add the injector cleaner 500-1000 miles before the oil change not after it since it will clean the engine but will make the oil dirty.

Minor issue but any precaution required?

speaking of fuel injector cleaner i just added some into my tank prior to filling up my gas tank.

I have been using Lucas brand on my is350 since the beginning of this year. I use it once a month, i add 5 oz of it to my tank at the end of each month. I purchased the huge container they sell at walmart.

honestly i think it works, my MPG slightly improved. As far as performance goes i dont see the difference but i figure it cant hurt to add fuel injector cleaners. But im wondering of adding too much fuel injector cleaner is bad?

Apparently, from what I've read from a shop, Lexus injector cleaner is simply a weaker version of techron with the Lexus name on it. BMW's injector cleaner is simply techron full strength. Techron is rebranded by a bunch of manufacturers and sold under their names.

Same issue with my 250.. I used seafoam and/or royal purple. Seafoam is pretty good for carbon build up. If it's really bad just take apart the block and clean it out. Or have a shop do it for roughly $100.

Gumout Regane work very darn well. Can be found on local auto part stores, wally world, and amazon.
