Is this the setup you have without lowering it? I just bought some 19s but i messed up and got 8.5 width all the way around. I want a staggered look still.....

This is my exact setup. Lowered with RSR downs and no rubbing. I’m using Conti DWS, you might rub in the back with Michelin’s. They have a more squared off sidewall compared to the Continentals
im new here and also want to change my wheels and i have stupid question, why front tire has 35 size and and rear 30? why not same all around?
In the staggered application the rear rims are wider than the front. In this regard, the tires need to be wider on the rear than the front.
In order to keep the circumference of the front and rear tires relatively the same, the sidewall height (the "35" and "30" numbers) is adjusted to achieve this.
How tire sizing works, using stock F Sport rims as an example: Front - 225/40/18
225 is the width of the tread in Millimetres
40 is the aspect ratio...which is the sidewall height as a percentage of the tread width...in this case, the sidewall is 40% of 225mm, which would be 90mm
18 is the height of the rim in inches Rear - 255/35/18
255 is the width of the tread in Millimetres
35 is the aspect ratio...which is the sidewall height as a percentage of the tread width...in this case, the sidewall is 35% of 255mm, which would be 89.25mm
18 is the height of the rim in inches
In this case, the front tire is technically 0.75mm taller than the rear, which is about the width of 3 human hairs...so nothing significant at all.
In a square setup, where all the rims and tires are the same size, front and rear, then all the sidewall numbers should/will be the same.

You can use 235/35/19 on the front and 265/30/19 on the rear - if i'll stay with 18" and take 18 8.5 front and rear 18 9.5, stock tires gonna fit it? 225/40/18 and 255/35/18 That is correct, you can use the factory sizes if you like. You could also upsize the tires to 235/40/18 on the front and 265/35/18 on the rear.
Do you know the offset of the ESR RF2 rims? It's also important to make sure the offsets will fit the vehicle as well. For the front rim you'd ideally want an offset of +30 to +35 and the rear rim +38 to +42.
At stock height you'd be ok with the correct size tires...lowered there may be rubbing in the rear...once again depending on tire size and how low you go.

Front - 19x8.5, 225/35/19 +35mm
Rear - 19x9.5 255/30/19 +40mm
Is there any major difference between going 225/235 or 255/265? Additionally, if one were to use the larger diameter tire (235 and 265), would you experience rubbing at those offsets when lowered on RS-R Downs? Seems like +38mm in the rear experiences rubbing when lowered.

The only upside with the larger tires is more sidewall. In some areas the roads may not be the greatest, so to help better protect the rims from those potholes, more sidewall is definitely beneficial.
Also, it will make for a smooth ride with more flex in a larger sidewall.
With the rim specs above you won't have rubbing with the larger tires on Downs.

Outstanding! Thank you. I'm debating between +40 or +42 in the rear. Not too many images out there of ET42 that I can find, unfortunately.
