Driver's side door won't unlock; loudly locks then stays locked
Hello everyone,
I've searched these forums a little and found people experiencing the issue above in comments, but no follow up as to the actual solution or a dedicated thread.
Yesterday, I went to unlock my car by pressing the unlock button on the fob. It unlocked fine. As soon as I touched the door handle, it locked itself 2-4 times.
So I tried it again by just grabbing the handle with the fob in my pocket, instead of opening its just locked itself another 2-4 times.
No matter how many times I pressed unlock or grabbed the handle, the door didn't want to let me in. I had to open the passenger door then manually unlock the driver's door from the inside.
I hope to take this up with the dealer, but it will be near impossible to reproduce on the spot. I will have to record it on my phone the next time it happens.
Has anyone experienced this and had the issue resolved? What did you do?
Thank you!

I replied to one of the threads, the dealer replaced my door actulator. They may keep the car for a few days to repelicate the problem. Make sure you do it before the warranty is up! I have a feeling it will be recalled.

+1 for door actuator. It's sometimes difficult to reproduce.
