This isn't clear. Do you mean your 2015 IS has 69,000 kilometers (~43,000 miles) on the original tires? That is quite a lot for a 2015

Has to be kilometers. No way the stock tires could make it 69k miles. Even 43k kilometers is hard to believe unless the guy drives ONLY in eco mode.

I do have to say I do NOT have confident in throwing the car in corners with these tires, they are far from sticky. I once almost slide into a rail because it was raining.. but then again.. I was going like 80mph lol

check your inner side of the front tires. Mine looked completely fine until i took them off to check the brakes and the inner 1" were completely bald. My rears are fine though. I have approximately 17k miles on it. If it wasnt for the inner wear i could have gone over30k miles.

Btw, the dealers say the stock tires last about 15k miles due to this inner wear.

Mine too! This was my favorite car. It's a 2017. Had it serviced yesterday at 17k miles......We were told that the tires on the IS Fsport requires new tires every 17-20k miles.....that came from our service manager. I love my car, but we will NOT replace tires every 17-20k miles.

And don't drive aggressive? Isn't that the fun/sport of the F Sport package? LOVE my car and how it drives, but this tire problem is unacceptable.

The service manager is only partly right. Yes, the stock tires and alignment of this car are prone to requiring new ones every 20k or less. But, the stock tires on the IS are terrible. Switch to a new tire first. Also, you might consider getting firmer lower control arm bushings, preferably the ones from the GS F, to reduce tire deflection under load.

I've been running BFGoodrich G-Force Comp-2 A/S on my IS for 9,000 miles, and they still have about 7/32" of tread (from a starting depth of 9/32").

Mines are just about done, I'm down to 4/32' right before my lease ending in a few days and I'm at 18k miles on them. I agree, unacceptable. Almost like having to change tires every year if you drive a lot. That's one thing I didn't like about this car, eats tires and brakes like nothing.
