Default Need help with Driver side mirror

I had a hit and run, some guy probably on a bike or car hit my driver side mirror. The dealer is charging me $800 to fix. I been trying to find the part online but no luck. Since my deductible is $1000, I'm wondering if it may make sense to find a used part online. I did a search but could not find anything. Does anyone have any ideas or suggestions to tackle this? Ideally, I like to say as much money as possible and avoid the $1000 deductible.

Thanks,

First, I will say for $800 of a $1000 deductible, I wouldn't go through insurance. Just pay $800 to whomever fixes it, if that's the route you take.

Second,

You need to find out what parts are damaged.

You may not need to replace everything.

For a used mirror (I just picked one), here's a place to start.
