I have a 2014 IS 350 F Sport. Randomly, my door handle lock (press once to lock and twice to open) won't work anymore because my car is saying it is detecting that the key is the car... well, it's not! It's always in my pocket. Now I have to take the key out of my pocket and lock it by pressing the lock button on the remote. Anyone know how to fix this?

 

Get it on video and take your car into the dealership ASAP before your warranty runs out. I had different issue where the handle unlock feature does not work, only loud clicks. I was locked out of my car... Couldn't unlock until i used physical key to unlock, then it was next to impossible to reproduce. Luckily i managed to get it on video, took it to dealership as proof, and they fixed it after a week of diagnosis.
