I'm failing to see what you guys are talking about. The link I provided is where I bought my lights from and I do not see a basic/premium kit.....it's all the same.

The link you sent is for the basic kit. If you go to the homepage of Precision LED and search for a 3IS you actually get results for a basic and premium kit.
I have a feeling the premium kit is somewhat new as the 5730 LEDs are also somewhat new.

im just curious if the added brightness would be enough to justify spending more on them

Tough call...it may be down to personal preference. I don't think you can go wrong with either kit.
The 5730 do suck more power, but really how much power do LEDs suck overall.

I'm going to save up my pesos for the Premium kit, and get all the additional bulbs until the overall price is just absolutely ridiculous...but that's my personal preference...lol!!!

Oh yes! Now I see it lol. I got the premium ones....just looked at my email. I bought them in November and didn't even know there was two different kits haha.

And yes the price is ridiculous....I paid $185 for every bulb but the trunk one because I'm doing different lighting for that. But I do feel you get what you pay for.
