Bumping this... Just got my PPE headers and worried about drone. I have the ARK Grip cat back system....


This video of the RC350 sounds like it does drone pretty bad. My wife would probably hate it lol

where did you purchase the headers?

And do I need to tune my car or have a aftermarket Cold air intake to install the headers?

 

There are plenty of videos on YouTube of PPE headers paired with Ark Catback for the IS350.

I ordered my headers about 4weeks ago. Patiently waiting for them to come in so I get them installed ASAP. Will upload a video when all said is done

Yes you'll want to Tune the car with the Headers.

Intake is not required (most aftermarket Intakes actually lose power over the OEM Airbox). We have a Carbon Intake available that utilizes the OEM Airbox but eliminates valve cover venting and gives you improved throttle response (plus looks great).

If I already have the tune since (2018) that is currently paired with just a catback exhaust, will you guys need to resend me a new tune with updates or does my tune automatically adjust when I install headers? Asking since I dont want my dashboard to look like Christmas lights
